Top Ten Tuesday: Romance

top-ten-tuesday

Guys!

Top 10 Tuesday, is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  Each week they have a different topic and this week it is ‘Top Ten Romance’.  Since there are two of us here, we’re going to split this in half. (Thank goodness because I actually struggled with this one.  Need more good romance books!)

Let’s get to it!

The Last Herald-Mage Trilogy

Kylana:

The Last Herald-Mage Trilogy by Mercedes Lackey.
This was actually on my last top ten but I’m going to leave it since this is a story that I feel is one of the best romance/relationships period.  Just be warned, I cry every time I read this trilogy.

My Commander (Bewitched and Bewildered, #1)

My Commander (Bewitched and Bewildered #1) by Alanea Alder

I got this book as my last blind date book and it was amazing.  I wasn’t sure I would like it but it had me cracking up so much and I broke my current no new book rule and bought #2 and #3 and will hopefully be reading them soon.  Poor Neko got stuck with random texts of lines that had me giggling.  I refrained from sending too much in hopes to get her to read this too. Review to come soon 🙂

Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, #1)

Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs (Alpha & Omega #1).  I really want to put both series on here but I’ll do this one since I haven’t mentioned it yet.  This is an author I love, she’s in my top 5 and one of 3 I regularly re-read. If you can’t tell from the above I have a thing for fantasy/urban fantasy :).

Rescuing Harley (Delta Force Heroes #3)

Rescuing Harley (Delta Forces Heros #3) by Susan Stoker. So this book is completely out of my normal realm of books, I don’t even remember how I got this book, however, I loved it. It’s an easy read and totally a contemporary romance.  I’m going to pick up the rest of them to read (yep, read number 3 before 1 and 2).  I’ll try and get a review up of this book too.

Cinder & Ella (Cinder & Ella #1)

Cinder & Ella by Kelly Oram.  Another book I’ve already mentioned but it’s so sweet and feels like the perfect valentine book :).

Neko: Uh let’s see if I can come up with 5 romances I have read…

Lady of the Forest

Lady of the Forest by Jennifer Roberson – You guys tired of seeing this one yet? Probably one of the few books I have read that actually has romance as a genre.

A Lady Raised High: A Novel of Anne Boleyn

A Lady Raised High by Laurien Gardner – Yup another repeat. I like Francis’ romance in this book. It’s sweet. Nuff said.

Heartless

Heartless by Marissa Meyer – I don’t read romance novels! This is a horrible week for me! I did however love Jester and how much he cared for Cath in this book. He really did love her and his courting her, even if it was forced at first, was very sweet to me ^_^

The Phantom of the Opera

The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux – I can’t believe I didn’t think of this book sooner! I love this story and the connection between Christine and Raoul! Be still my heart. Erick and Christine also have a heck of a romance… The Phantom is awesome!

North and South

North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell – Another girl hates boy, boy falls madly in love with girl, girl finally realizes she actually does love boy. This is such a good story, and Mr. Thornton is the kind of guy any girl would swoon over! Once he realizes his true feelings there is nothing he would not do for Margaret.

Yes I did it! Woohoo!

So what romance novels would you list as your top ten? Share in the comments!
