Tired of Neko’s never ending reviews yet? Of course not! So here we go with another one! And just to keep everyone entertained, with this book I branched out a bit. It has something to keep everyone interested including zombies, prophecies, adventure, friendship, danger, Satanists, and pudding!

Synopsis: Three years have passed since the Jamaicans caused the apocalypse, and things in post-Armageddon Chicago have settled into a new kind of normal. Unfortunately, that “normal” includes collapsing skyscrapers, bands of bloodthirsty maniacs, and a dwindling cache of survival supplies. After watching his family, friends, and most of the non-sadistic elements of society crumble around him, Patrick decides it’s time to cross one last item off his bucket list. He’s going to Disney World. This hilarious, heartfelt, gut-wrenching odyssey through post-apocalyptic America is a pilgrimage peppered with peril, as fellow survivors Patrick and Ben encounter a slew of odd characters, from zombie politicians and deranged survivalists to a milky-eyed oracle who doesn’t have a lot of good news. Plus, it looks like Patrick may be hiding the real reason for their mission to the Magic Kingdom…

My Thoughts: First five paw review!! This book was wonderfully funny and accurately describes vacationing with my family… I don’t even know what to say that won’t spoil the book! Two guys traveling… South I think… To Disney World and all the crazy things they encounter along the way. I tried to figure out the prophecy before its parts came true, laughed out loud, cried at the ending, and shuddered right along with our heroes when hippies and college students came out of the shadows. Honestly, it is a riot of a read, you wont’ want to put the book down.

Agh! I’m sorry the review is so short but it is one of the best books I have read in a while! If the world is going to end I feel like this is the way my brother and I would handle it, complete with Grand Theft Auto taught knowledge and posing with weapons to decide which is the best looking. Go read it! And let me know what you think!
